By any account, it was a splendid show.  For two (that's right, two!) weeks in a row, all of the regular Band members were present and knocking out the hits for the enthusiastic audience.  Oh Lady Be Good opened up the show, setting a foot-tapping mood which lasted throughout the evening.  The songlist was peppered with selections from Gershwin, Mancini and Mercer, Ellington, and Cole Porter.

Just as an effort to cover all genres of music, the Band whipped out a fine performance of Theolonius Monk's In Walked Bud, and a latin number by Antonio Carlos Jobim entitled Summer Samba.  Must have been wishful thinking for the lost warmer days, as was a later Rodgers and Hammerstein (or is it Hammers and Rodgerstein?) selection entitled It Might As Well Be Spring.

Some excellent cookies were provided by Linda, just for no special reason.  The nearly-capacity crowd left the Hall with the strains of the old gospel tune It Is No Secret ringing in their ears.

A Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving to all.  Those poor pilgrims went through a lot, especially the part about their trousers always falling down.
